HELP EDUCATE POOR CHILDREN IN RURAL PAKISTAN

HELP EDUCATE POOR CHILDREN IN RURAL PAKISTAN

As per the 18th Constitutional Amendment and abolition of the concurrent list, Education has become a provincial subject. Another important and positive change is the insertion of Article 25-A in the Constitution of Pakistan that guarantees the Right to free and compulsory education to all children of age 5 to 16 years in Pakistan. Realizing the fact that the implementation of Article 25-A will be a key challenge in the future as there are millions of out of school
The significance of education can hardly be exaggerated. Its vital role in the development of manpower is well recognized. Despite of its being integral part of every development plan the provision of educational facilities and also no inclination of the people towards rural education in the rural area has been much below the requirement of the day.
A nominal budget allocation for education and lack of incentives for working in the rural area were major stumbling blocks in the way of promoting education in the rural area.
DASE Foundation Pakistan  mission is to help provide basic education to rural children in need in south Punjab rural Pakistan so they may have the opportunity to attend school, learn and give back to society.
